Genesis Breyer P-Orridge is an avant-guarde musician, writer, and artist whose work plays with sexuality and identity. P-Orridge’s early art and music, with the original industrial band Throbbing Gristle, irreverently tackled topics like pornography and occultism. Now P-Orridge and his wife are attempting to become more like one another, partly through the use of plastic surgery in a living art project they call, “breaking sex.”
In this half-hour special, Sextv follows Genesis and Lady Jaye, at home and with their new band, as they invite the world to expand and challenge traditional notions of gender and sexuality.
