The Roman Catholic Church is in crisis as priests continue to leave the church in record numbers over the issue of mandatory celibacy. At the same time, fewer men are entering the seminary. The end result is a shortage of priests. This segment examines the roots of celibacy within the Catholic Church and explores the role of celibacy in the lives of married priests, sexually active priests and priests who are still in "the system."
