Korean Comfort Women. In "Silence Broken", documentary filmmaker Dai Sil Kim-Gibson explores the stories of "comfort women". During World War II, approximately 200,000 girls and women were coerced into sexual servitude by the Japanese government. While the Japanese establishment continues to deny their involvement, women are now coming forth demanding legal recourse for their suffering.
