STILL DOING IT - Episode 3-13

At some point in time, we've all had a moment acknowledging the fact that our parents had to have had sex in order for us to exist….and we've all shuddered at the thought.

Now that abhorrence may be an innate, biological reaction which would make incestual matings highly unlikely, but I think part of it is due to the fact that we simply don't like to think of older people 'doing it.'

It's not surprising that the thought of sex among those who are older is a bit of a turn off in our society, considering that the only examples we get of people being sexual are of young, nubile bodies. But I for one have no intention of letting my sexuality dissolve as I age. Sure, sexuality changes as we get older, for the better or the worse; but it's still sexuality. It doesn't simply disappear along with our hairlines and perfect bodies, it adapts to the new realities of our physiology. Some people see this as defeating, and others simply accept the changes as an inevitable evolution of who they are (as one man in the story put it, "I'm never going to come 6 or 8 times a night anymore, but on the other hand there's a leisureliness and a focus that makes lovemaking very different than it was at 20." ). The fact that this older man was at one point even capable of having 6 or 8 orgasms in a night was unto itself utterly astounding to the people in our office; he in fact the new hero of the men at SexTV…and he's over 60.

So for those of you who shudder at the thought of aging, let alone aging and sexuality, and think it's perhaps inappropriate to talk about or uncomfortable to look at, consider this: You are going to be old one day…deal with it.
